After a long, sweltering day walking around Florence, coming back to the hotel room was a relief with its roomy space and an excellent bathroom complete with a fantastic bath. However, the room felt a little too small and lacked windows, though the terrace provided a view of all the monuments of Florence.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room service turning down my room each day, a nice touch. Just be cautious of the foot mat by the bed on the polished wood floors. The rooms overlooking the square are clean, well-decorated, with an excellent marble bathroom, a heated towel rail, a strong shower, and the bed is very comfortable.

The room, although near a construction project, was very comfortable and offered stunning church views. The service was exceptional, with kind and patient staff. The location was perfect for exploring Florence, a city I fell in love with. The dining experience was sublime, with seriously yummy Pork Belly. A few downsides were the ongoing construction noise and the price being a bit high.
